Back in the saddle?

Firstly, to answer Katie who left a question for me last blog post, Katie its dead easy to make a blog book. Just download the software from www.blurb.com and either 'slurp' your book across if blurb supports your blog host, or do what I do and cut and paste each post into the template and arrange your photos to suit. Sense check it, upload it to Blurb and order - simples!

Normally simples anyway, volume number 10 arrived with a blank white cover which is not how it was sent off to print. Still, its the first problem Ive had with them and they've sorted it and a replacement book is on its way to me as I type.

OMG I scrapped.  Can you believe it? I think the last time I scrapped was August 2009. Not one but two and a half pages!  The half being one that has been started but needs the photos adding (after Ive taken them, how forward planning is that!).

Firstly, had to do something with Bethany's leavers disco photo didnt I.

So turned that into her '11' page. Just need to do her 12 page and Im up to date. Which is more than I can say for Ben age pages, the last one I did for him, he was 7. Oops. I decided to see what this page would look like as a canvas so sent it off to a seller on ebay. Two days later, it came back and the quality is incredible The colours are sharp, it looks amazing in real life, light is poo up the stairs where this is.

This will be the first in my 12 x 12 canvas collection, Im hoping to, bit by bit, get all my digital pages on canvas.

Secondly, just so that I could use a new kit Id bought, a page about Ben and his love of baking and cooking. Credits for these can be seen on my UKS gallery (user name SuzyB).

The lack of scrapping goes hand in hand with the lack of blogging - both caused by a lack of photography.  Hopefully with the onset of spring there will be more occasions to get the camera out.

Lastly, as this is a short blog post, but hey, small steps in getting back into blogging and all that, Happy Birthday to Grandpa Silverpoop who was 46 on the 28th. See?

OK who transposed the numbers? ;o)
