Birthdays and Beaver Teeth

Id just like to say thank you for all the lovely and supportive comments left from the Scrap365 Blog hop - it looks like lots of people are very excited about the launch of the magazine which is terrific! I cant wait to see the first issue, remember, its out on 18th November.

Last week Betsy turned 13. Entry into teenagedom, moodyville etc blah blah. Cept  Betty came out of the womb a teenager, or at least it certainly feels like that somedays.  She came home very excited the other day, having been given a flyer for a kids disco thing at a real live club, with special guest from Waterloo Road (her favourite show). Excited not only because of the Waterloo Road connection, but because the disco was for 13 to 17 year olds and wooo hoo, by the date of the disco, she would be 13 hurray!  'That's really good' I said, 'Just one problem'.  She might be 13 by then, but in that she's at least a month older than any of her friends, they wouldnt be old enough to go with her. Gutted. Course I could have gone with her, Im pretty sure I could pass for 17, what with my youthful looks..snort.

For her birthday she took her friends to Frankie and Benny's for tea on Saturday night. The girls trouped round with their bags of clothes, make up and bling helped each other get ready, then patiently stood in line (rolling their eyes) while I took their photographs. As a little momento of the night, I scrapped the photos to give them all a copy.
Ben on the other hand isnt enjoying being 11. I think its something to do with the photo I took of him on Sunday while we were out walking Poppy.

Looks ok really, quite sweet, there's his little dimples, his little red noddy cheeks and his hair that he's growing out in an attempt to look like Justin Beaver, sorry, Bieber (its the teeth, they caught me off guard)...

So why was he so upset?  Cause of this..
S'me! As I pointed out, there are many similarities between those two photos, although Im not sure whether thats because he looks like a girl, or because I looked like a boy. He wasnt too impressed, in fact he's suggested he should perhaps get his hair cut now, fancy that.

Im going to go scream into a cushion now as Ive just accidentally cleared off all the photos on my memory card.

Great LO, I love those fashion digi elements :) Love the layers and colours
Sorry to hear you've just wiped your memory card, hope there wasn't much on it.
Love the comparison of the photos, I too can see similarities. :)
